I'm Claire and I'm 20 and from a town called Tranent in a very pretty part of Scotland called East Lothian. I'm curently at Stirling university studying history. I have no idea what I want to do when I leave so hopefully that will come to me soon! I used to want to be a teacher but having taken the teacher training course over the last two years, sadly I have come to realise I am not suited to the profession! My two main amibitions for the futre are 1, to get a book published at some point and 2, to be elected as an MP!

I like watching films and going to the cinema, I have no particular favourite genre but I'm not too keen on horror or sci-fi films. I have really odd taste in music in that like with films I can't pick one particular genre to be my favourite. I love classical music and I like popular stuff from the 60s and 70s and I like slightly more up to date stuff like Oasis, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs etc, but I'm not a fan of most things that are currently in the charts! I love reading and writing. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and I also love the Inspector Rebus series by Ian Rankin, Stephen Fry is another favourite author and I've recently become a fan of Oscar Wilde!

I work part time in a museum which I love. It's so much fun and very interesting. When I'm not there I like to meet with friends and go into town for a drink and a dance!
